HISTORY

In the beginning Beachmont Eye Institute was just a staff of two operating in Pauls Avenue Medical Arts Building under the name K.F's Eye Clinic.

At that time in 1992 we only catered for surgery and eye diseases. In 1995 an Optical Department was added for Eye wear sales and repairs.

The workplace just wasn't enough so in 1997 K.F's Eye clinic, now operating under the name Eyes 'R' Us moved to Bonadie Street opposite the public library.

Our staff was then five strong and we added a clinic upstairs the optical dept.

Despite the move in'97, quality since demanded an even bigger space, so in 2005 Eyes 'R' Us now operating under Beachmont Eye Institute moved to the new office in Beachmont.

The institute flourished and if you think we stopped there, in 2009 our patient surgical center and several consultant partners were added to staff to help power the vision of becoming a center for comprehensive eye care. 

Oh.. and our name hasn't changed since.....
