Every great vision starts small.

In 1992, Beachmont Eye Institute began as a humble two-person team, operating out of the Pauls Avenue Medical Arts Building under the name K.F.’s Eye Clinic. Back then, our sole focus was clear and purposeful: eye disease care and surgery.

But vision grows.

By 1995, we expanded—adding an Optical Department to provide eyewear sales and repairs, making eye care more accessible to the community we served.

Soon, the space could no longer hold the dream.

In 1997, K.F.’s Eye Clinic evolved into Eyes ‘R’ Us, relocating to Bonadie Street, directly opposite the public library. With a growing team of five dedicated staff members, we introduced an upstairs clinic alongside the optical department—another step toward comprehensive care.

Excellence, however, demands room to breathe.

By 2005, the growing demand for quality care led us to our new home in Beachmont, where Eyes ‘R’ Us officially became Beachmont Eye Institute—a name that reflected our expanding scope, standards, and vision.

And we didn’t stop there.

In 2009, we took another bold leap forward, adding a patient surgical center and welcoming several consultant partners, strengthening our mission to become a true center for comprehensive eye care.

And yes—

our name hasn’t changed since.

Because our vision is clear.

Our purpose is steady.

And our commitment—to your sight—has only grown stronger.
